I have been teaching and working with expectant parents for many years. Teaching is something that I am passionate about. As a La Leche League Leader, I have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of moms over the last 20 years, helping them breastfeed their babies and overcome issues. Spending time with young families as a Mentor Mom has kept me relevent the needs of a newer generation of parents.

My husband and I have raised 3 daughters, fostered several children and now are enjoying the grandchildren.  We home schooled throughout most of their education and served on the mission field for 4 years in a small town in Mexico.

Childbirth Education is an important step in your parenting journey.  Upon enrollment in my Childbirth Education class, we will discuss your situation, needs, fears and the birth you are preparing for, and at that point, I will customize the ideal class for you.  Group classes are also available but are more general.

Topics may include birth plans, biology of labor, what to expect when you arrive at the hospital, (birth center), comfort measures, how dads can best help during labor, medication or not,  the moments of birth, breastfeeding or bottle feeding, and what your first 6 weeks will be like.

I look forward to working with you.
